    INTRODUCTION
    • On December 1984, a disastrous event took place at
    Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh where a pesticide plant was
    built by the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL)
    • It is estimated over 16,000 deaths and 500,000 injuries
    reported.
    • The incident is caused by the leak of toxic gas inside
    the plant to the surrounding area of the pesticide plant
    including nearby towns and lands.
    • The involved company faced lawsuits regarding this
    disaster.
