Parkview Tour

● Traveled to Parkview
● Current 6th and 7th Grade students led the tours
● Practiced Lockers
● Got to see classrooms
● Registered for Classes
Chromebooks for Transition

● Took Chromebooks with us to Parkview, students were able to sign up for

Band and Choir
● Students gained access to Parkview Google Classroom- the middle school
uses this to push out important info to students
● Infinite Campus is used by students heavily next year
Band and Choir

● Parkview band and choir came to perform for Crocker students

● Parkview band and choir teachers came to 5th grade music classes to talk
to them about opportunities in middle school
Parkview Leadership Camp

● Kids can apply for Parkview Leadership Camp

○ Mailing will be sent out to parents on the 27th
○ Applications due: June 1
● Leadership Camp is August 16th
○ 2 sessions - 10 & 11:40
○ Bring in a speaker on Leadership qualities
○ BBQ lunch catered by Hy-Vee
● Great way for kids to get to know other classmates and brush up on their
leadership skills prior to the start of the school year.
