Detectives and Criminal
Investigators
• A detective is an investigator, usually a member of a
law enforcement agency. They often collect information
to solve crime by talking to witnesses and informants,
collecting physical evidence, or searching records in
databases. This leads them to arrest criminals and
allow them to be convicted in court.[1] A detective may
work for the police or privately.

an advocate, attorney, attorney at law, barrister,
barrister-at-law, bar-at-law, counsel, counselor,
counsellor, counselor at law, solicitor, or public servant
preparing, interpreting and/or applying law, but not as a

Firefighter
• A firefighter is a rescuer extensively trained in
firefighting, primarily to extinguish hazardous fires that
threaten life, property and the environment as well as to
rescue people and animals from dangerous situations.
The complexity of modern, industrialized life has
created an increase in the skills needed in firefighting
technology. The fire service, also known in some
countries as the fire brigade or fire department, is one
of the three main emergency services. From urban
areas to aboard ships, firefighters have become
ubiquitous around the world.
