Green infrastructure occurs at all scales. It is most often associated with stormwater
management systems, which are smart and cost-effective. However, green
infrastructure is really a larger concept and is closely associated with many
other things. Green infrastructure also serves to provide an ecological framework
for social, economic and environmental health of the surroundings.
Laws of thermodynamics
1st law – Energy can neither be created nor destroyed.
2nd law – The entropy of an isolated system not in equilibrium will
tend to increase over time,
3rd law – As temperature approaches absolute zero, the entropy
of a system approaches a constant minimum
0th law – If two thermodynamic systems are each in thermal
equilibrium with a third, then they are in thermal equilibrium with
each other
