ANTARCTICA
Why? WOW Antarctica! I never
really considered visiting Antarctica
up until this year, when I heard all
the amazing stories from the man
that’s been everywhere,
Lee Abbamonte, who most recently
visited The South Pole. After
hearing and reading his stories of
Antarctica, along with a few other
travel bloggers, I felt like Antarctica
has been calling my name. I
seriously keep running
into Antarctica related things, like
documentaries on the plane and
stumbling across beautiful photos. I
don’t think I’m gonna go as far as
visiting the South Pole anytime
soon, but I think just visiting
anywhere Antarctica would be
incredible. Antarctica, isn’t a cheap
country to visit AT ALL! So this trip
will need to be planned months in
advance, not like my
other spontaneous trips. But don’t
worry Antarctica, I’m coming for
you soon!
CUBA

• Why? Cuba has always been a country that I’ve been curious about. I would love
to go back in time to the 1950’s and see all the beautiful classic cars, the
architecture and learn more about the culture. This is just one of those third world
countries, you have to visit.
Vietnam

• From the impressive rock formations of Ha Long Bay to the terraced fields of mountainous Sa Pa,
Vietnam has a huge wealth of easily accessible natural beauty.
• The rest of the island is rocky and wild and begging to be explored. Half of Cat Ba is verdant
national park and it’s a paradise for travellers who come here to hike, climb and kayak (the waters
and coral reefs are protected too). For jaw-dropping views across Ha Long Bay, head up to Cannon
Fort.
Siberia
• In Siberia, despite the development of communication
systems and traffic, there are still huge vast areas of
uninhabited wildlife. The Visoravan Travelers in the Near
North of Russia, which UNESCO has included as a World
Heritage List, is a mountain massif where Peter Jackson,
director of the Lord of the Rings, could film his future films
with a fairy-tale theme. The area has a large number of
gorge and bays. This place is, however, best known as the
"end of ten thousand lakes and a thousand waterfalls." It
is the place where the largest number of waterfalls in
Russia is located, and there is also the lake Vivi, which is
the geographical center of Russia. You will feel like a
mysterious fairy-tale country on the plateau.
Ireland

• Portrush Beach, Derry-Londonderry

Northern Ireland is blessed with so many beautiful landscapes
that deserve been known and visited.

• Dunluce Castle, County Antrim.

Beaghmore Stone Circles, County Tyrone

• Among the romantic

preconceptions visitors bring
to Ireland, it is their
expectations of the landscape
that are most likely to be
fulfilled. An uncommon
geological richness and the
warming effect of the Atlantic
produce an astonishing
diversity of terrain on this
small island, which is
splashed throughout with
lakes and primeval bogland.
In the east, the crumpled
granite of the Wicklow Hills
sits in utter contrast to the
horse-grazing plain of the
Curragh just a few kilometres Glenariff Forest Park, County Antrim
away, and in Connemara on
the west coast, you can walk
from beach to mountain to
fen, from seaweed-strewn
inlet to lily-covered lough, in
a matter of hours.
• Coupled with the unhurried
nature of rural living, this
scenic array encourages
leisurely investigation,
especially on foot or by
bicycle.
The Great Chinese Wall
• The best times to visit the Great Wall (around Beijing) are spring and autumn to avoid summer heat
and crowds, and winter freezing conditions.
• Spring (April–May) in Beijing's mountains is cool/warm and the green plants and flowers make the
Great Wall beautiful.
• Fall (September–November) is a the best hiking season due to the clear weather, allowing you to
see the Great Wall snaking off into distance. The mountains are blanketed by colors of red, golden,
yellow, and brown, which sets off the grays and paler Great Wall colors
