    My pet is a red-legged turtle (Chelonoidis carbonaria), native to parts of South America. It can live up to 100 years. The author gets along well with their pet turtle named Tank, though the family is considering building a larger enclosure after Tank has escaped and they learned it has two brothers.     carbonaria) and is a native species of
    the savannas and forests of Panama to
    the Guianas, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay
    and northern Argentina. In Venezuela
    and Colombia it is known as “Morrocoy
    Sabanero” or simply Morrocoy
    I get along very well with my pet tank my parents and my sister
    are thinking about making a bigger house for a tank (because it
    escapes from home and has 2 brothers) we thought about
    making a Jurassic park style house
