 What is the purpose of
natural remedies?
1. God can use natural remedies to reveal the source of
healing.
2. God intends that every treatment be an opportunity with
God in our healing.
3. God is seeking to transform character. He knows our
need to learn to submit to His will, and learn to obey His
directions implicitly.
4. Simple remedies teach us patience, to patiently wait on
Him to work out His will.
 What is the purpose of
natural remedies?
5. God uses these remedies to teach ‘wise’ men to trust
simple principles of His love.

6. Simple remedies provide us opportunity to point patients

away from the therapist to the source of healing – “Not
my wisdom, but God’s”.

7. Every treatment is an opportunity to implant a divine

principle – to sow a seed, to share, an object lesson
illustrated by the treatment.

8. God desires that patients be given time to spend with His
servants, that by beholding they may become changed,
and that we may draw their hearts to ours.

9. God uses natural remedies to develop faith in Him, and

in His prescription for us.

10. We can use a treatment as an opportunity to share a

health principle.

 “Therapy” – The treatment of disease by some remedial

curative method.

 Definition: The use of water in restoring health OR The

use of water in any of its 3 forms, solid, liquid, vapor,
internally or externally, in the treatment of disease or
trauma.
