Bears

A little girl named Goldilocks
was walking in the woods one
day...
She comes upon a lone cabin,
belonging to the Bear Family,
and her curiosity is piqued...
She cautiously tries the door, and
finds it unlocked, so she enters
the cabin...
She decides to go exploring to
sate her curious nature
She sits on the couch to watch
some TV...
The sports channel blasts on, and
she covers her ears and says,
“Too Loud!”
 She assumes
that: only Pappa
Bear would be
watching loud
sports television!
She sits down and tries the
radio instead and hears the
music soundtrack to the
chick flick, Amelies
“Momma Bear must have
been listening to this,” she
thinks
The music is soft and quiet,
which bores Goldilocks so
she says, “Too Quiet!” and
leaves the chair
Goldilocks decides to take a walk outside
Goldilocks finds an ax and
Goldilocks findsand
some wood outside chopped wood
thinks, “Pappa Bear
must’ve been working out
here”
 Goldilocks takes a
Goldilocks finds chopped
big swing with the ax
wood
which sends a jolt up
her arms. “Too Hard!”
she says
Goldilocks comes back
inside the cabin to find
something else to do...
Goldilocks spots some
knitting supplies next to
a chair...
 Goldilocks thinks to herself,
“Momma Bear must’ve been
knitting a scarf for Baby
Bear!”
 Goldilocks starts to
knit, but it’s so boring
she says, “Too
Easy!”
Suddenly,
Goldilocks hears a
very loud noise!
 Goldilocks searches for the
source of the noise which leads
her to Baby Bear’s room...
As Goldilocks
walked into the
room, to her shock
she found Baby
Bear lying lifeless
on the ground!
Goldilocks, still
shocked, heard
a loud explosion
that went off in
the other room.
The explosion
caught the
house on fire!
Goldilocks and
Baby Bear both
inside!
 What should
Goldilocks do?!?! All of
the evidence will be
burned away in the
fire! How will they
catch Baby Bear’s
murderer then?
Suddenly, a Spirit Bear
appears before
Goldilocks…
Spirit Bear quickly uses
his magical power to
douse the flames
 The Police
arrive just as
the fire is
going out.
Police sketched
the crime scene
with the help of
the rectangular
coordinate
method.
Fingerprints on
the axe were
exposed using
charcoal and a
brush. Revealing
a partial arch
pattern
Unfortunately,
the fingerprints
were too partial
after the damage
from the fire to
be conclusive
They concluded that
it was a secondary
explosive in “C4”, so
it seems that it
required an initiator
such as a blasting
cap to detonate.
Flammable
liquids were
found, this
could only
mean Arson!
 As the only
witness, the
police officers
begin to
question
Goldilocks.
 Goldilocks tells the officer that
Pappa Bear had been chopping
wood and watching sports TV
She also tells him that Momma
Bear had been knitting and
listening to music on the radio.
 Because of this, the police
conclude that Pappa Bear, who,
according to Goldilocks, had been
chopping wood, must have been
the murderer.
 Parentbears
Parent bears come back home
come back
home to find
out the
tragic news
 Parent bears come back home
Papa Bear tries to
act tough in times
of sadness
Consoling Mama
Bear, because he is
the “Man” of the
house
Parent bears come back home
Mama Bear
weeps after
hearing the
news that
Baby Bear
has been
murdered.
Parent bears come back home
Police
immediately
accuse
Papa bear of
committing
the murder!
 Parent bears come back home
Pappa Bear
objects, “How
dare you
accuse me of
murdering my
own son!”
 The police
respond, “We come back home
Parent bears
know the
murder
weapon was
an ax, and we
know that you
were the one
chopping
wood, so it
must be you!”
 Pappa Bear
objects once
Parent
more, bears come back home
“What?!?! I
never chop
wood! All I
have done
recently is knit
and listen to
music on the
radio!?
 Parent bears
The police are
come back home
confused, but
not convinced.
How can we
trust your
word?
 During this
argument,
Goldilocks enters
the crime scene.
She sees Baby
Bear laying there
lifeless and she
starts to cry.
 Spirit Bear
appears and
hugs
Goldilocks. He
gives Goldilocks
a spell to revive
Baby Bear.
Goldilocks casts the spell
over Baby Bear:

“dúisíonn gaige
cheana féin”
Baby Bear is engulfed
in blue smoke with the
magical fairies giving
new life to his body
Everyone rejoices over Baby Bear!
 Police cut the
celebration short to ask
Baby bear what he
remembers before the
explosion, who
attacked him?
To everyone’s shock, Baby Bear points to Mama
Bear !
Everyone is shocked! The Momma Bear!?!?
Baby Bear is reunited
with Pappa Bear, and
Momma Bear is taken
away
 Moral of the story:
Don’t assume based on stereotypes. Not
everyone fits the mold you might have in your
mind. Nobody’s identity is solely based upon a
group they belong to. Papa bear enjoyed knitting,
not the typical ”dad” thing to do. Get your facts
straight, or innocent people can get hurt. Our
story concluded that gender roles don’t always
apply.
