 You can enjoy an iPad even if you can’t see the
screen
 You can access it by triple clicking the home button
 You can hear everything with a description
 example: battery level , who’s calling you,
and which app your finger is on
Facetime

 Facetime can be used with people


who communicate using sign language.
 Using Facetime people can see
every gesture and facial expression.
 You can access Facetime by clicking on the Facetime icon.
You will have to sign in using your apple ID and then
adding people by their email or phone number.
AssistiveTouch
 AssistiveTouch is a feature on the iPad
 Users can control the device with a virtual home button
 Gives people with physical disabilities an easier way to navigate
 You can access AssistiveTouch by going to “settings”, then
“General”, clicking on “Accessibility”, then “AssistiveTouch”
Siri
 Siri helps you accomplish every day tasks such as
command to send messages to family members
or helping pull up directions to get home.
 Short commands as “Facetime Kaitlyn”, ”Text
Aaron- I’ll be home soon”.
 You turn on Siri in Settings. Hold down the home
button for Siri to appear.
Guided Access
 Guided Access limits your iOS device to a
single app
 You are able to control which features are
available
 You can use Guided Access when
accidental gestures might distract you
