ZOOM CLOUD VIDEO USER’S GUIDE

PART 1 DEVICES TO GET STARTED


1. Windows system of desktop computer and tablet;
2. Apple OSX system computer;
3. IOS system phone and tablet;
4. Android system of mobile phones and flat.

PART 2 INTERNET TO GET STARTED


1. ZOOM requires internet access to work;
2. To promise a stable video and audio quality, it is highly recommended to
connect wi-fi > 4M bandwidth;
3. It is LESS recommended to use your mobile phone to have the access of
ZOOM.

PART 3 DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL


1. For the users of windows system for desktop computers and tablet, click
the following:
www.zoom.us/download
download and install the “Zoom Client for Meetings”.

2. For the users of Apple OSX system computer, click the following:

download and install.

3. For the users of iOS phone and tablet system, tap the following:
App Store → search “ zoom” → select “zoom cloud meeting” → tap
“download”

4. For the users of Androids system of mobile phones and flat , go to the "360
application market", "Tencent application treasure" or other applications in
the market, input "zoom" words to search, and then find the icon as the
following icon to download and install.

Note:

1) When you use Chinese search engine for “zoom”, it is a lot of chances that
you have many links available to click. Please be reminded that those links
are created by the authorized zoom agents which may accommodate
certain features that prevent you from full access of zoom;

2) Please ensure that you would choose the URL as provided in this user’s
guild.

PART 4 HOW TO ENTER ZOOM ROOM

(Note: Keying in an authorized Zoom meeting ID allows you to join the meeting,
no registration is required.)

PART 5 QUESTIONS

A. GENERAL SETTING

I. For android mobile phones and tablet devices, the video and audio
settings are displayed as follows:

Android version:

1. Circle button at the upper left corner of the screen is “speaker”, tap this
circle enabling you to choose whether or not to mute your audience’s
voice;

2. Tap microphone at the lower left corner of the screen allowing you to
choose whether or not to be heard by your audience;

3. Tap camera at the lower left corner of the screen allowing you to choose
whether or not to be seen by your audience;

4. If you would like to have your online class work properly, please set your
Speaker, Microphone and Camera button as exact as the screen showed
as left side.

5. For iOS mobile phones and tablet devices, the video and audio settings
are displayed as follows:

iOS version:

1. ”Speaker” choice is located at the upper left corner of the screen, tap
allowing you to choose whether or not to mute your audience’s voice;

2. Tap microphone at the lower left corner of the screen allowing you to
choose whether or not be heard by your audience;

3. Tap camera at the lower left corner of the screen allowing you to choose
whether to be seen by your audience;

4. If you would like to have your online class work properly, please reset your
Speaker, Microphone and Camera button look as exact as the screen
showed as left side.

II. When windows or OSX computer users enter the assigned online
classroom, the audio and video settings are automatically reminded to go
through the following process:

2) Click the option of “ audio system test”, and screen display is like

 Double check if the volume button for “Speaker Test” and “Microphone
Test” have all been turned on and adjusted to the volume as you
expect;

 Once the above check is completed, click “X” button at the upper right
corner of screen, and the screen goes back to the main screen.

 Click “ use computer build-in audio system” that allows to move


into
Classroom.

 Clicking microphone button at the bottom left corner giving you the
choice whether or not to mute your own voice;

 Clicking camera button right next to the microphone giving you the
choice of whether or not to seen by your audience;

 Clicking chat button allowing you to texting message to your


audience.
