Definition
• Color psychology is the study of color as a determinant of human behavior.

• It is based on mental and emotional effects colors have on sighted people in all facets
of life

• There are some very subjective pieces to color psychology as well as some more
accepted and proven elements

• Factors such as gender, age, and culture can influence how an individual perceives
color.

While perceptions of color are somewhat subjective, there are some color effects
that have universal meaning
