This strategy is very appropriate for summarizing things

1.Distribute several pictures in class.
2.Allow the students/groups to find out the relationships of the
picture to the topic discussed.
3. Let them share their insights/ideas in class.

Domino

Description of the strategy:


This is a strategy where concepts are written following
the domino concept. Each student must be able to put the
Domino based on the concept for the day. The activity
develops oral proficiency and higher order thinking skills.

• Recalls important terms


• Improves interpersonal skills
• Maximizes class participation
Teaching Procedures

1.Prepare/make a domino template.


2.Write the concepts learned in each of the domino title.
3.Give the rules of the domino.
4.Let them play the domino using the concepts learned.
Sample Activity
Direction: Using the Domino tile, arrange the sequence in solving
quadratic equations by factoring.

X2 + 9 x + 8 = 0 ( x + 1 ) (x + 8 ) = 0 X +1=0;x+8=0

X = -1 and x = -8 X2 + 9 x + 8 = 0
