further the UDL in the classroom as this can accommodate to several different types of learners.
The teacher will be there to facilitate learning and answer questions the students have. It will be
clear when the lesson is ending as there will be concluding statements.
Managing student learning: They will engage in guided questions throughout the podcast. There

collaboration time is throughout the entire podcast.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection: The UDL for this lesson is multiple means of
engagement. This tool gives students a way to listen and respond to the questions all while
thinking about what is being said. It enhances the learning by giving students an opportunity to go
back if they missed something, to get rid of pressures of note taking. It provides a laid back
environment for the students to think.
Reflection: I believe this activity will enhance student learning. A podcast is a fun way for
engagement and listening. I am looking forward to the guided questions because I am interested
to hear their responses.
