thinking and pro-active reaction
 WRAP UP ----concluding punch that restates
your opening…(POSITIVE NOTE)
•The new office policy of requiring tardy students to
study their lessons in the library while they wait for
the next period is both timely and wise. (proof of its
timeliness….)

•It is a source of great pride and inspiration for our

school to come out first in NAT, nationwide. (figures
and reasons…)

•Our general PTA Officials are very generous and

Kailan kaya masusugpo ang drug
addiction sa ating paaralan?

kahirapan?
 payak na paglalahad
 (Kabataan ang pag-asa ng inang bayan.),
 pagsasalaysay

STRUCTURE ( KAYARIAN)

Lead with an Objective Explanation

of the Issue/Controversy
•5 W’s and the H
Example : Members of Congress, in effort to
reduce the budget, are looking to cut funding
from public education allotment. Hearings
were held …)
I. Present Your Opposition First.
* disagree with viewpoints. Identify the people
specifically who oppose you.

Example : Administration lawmakers feel that

these cuts are necessary because……….

Use facts and quotations to state objectively

their opinions.
Give a strong position of the opposition.
PAKSA o SULIRANING SUSULATIN
Hal.
Nagpasya na ang kongreso na irerepaso ang
Saligang Batas 1987 sa pamamagitan ng
Constituents Assembly.
Ito ay mistulang pinaglamayan na isyu para
lamang maisakatuparan ng administrasyon
ang mga plano sa darating na 2010. Banta na
naman ba ito ng demokrasya?
II. Directly Refute The Opposition's
Beliefs.
Begin with transition.
Example : Lawmakers believe government
had spent billions to public education yet the
return of investment is not great. …..
However, statistics show most people….
Concede a valid point of the opposition
Example : Fiscal times are tough, and we can
cut some of the funding for the education;
however, …).
Paglalahad ng Suliranin
Hal :
Marahil ikinagagalak ng karamihan ng
mambabatas ang CONASS ngunit sa
iilang oposisyon ay magdudulot ito ng
panibagong plano ng administrasyon
upang palawigin ang termino ng
Pangulong Gloria Macapagal – Arroyo…..
•PAGLILIPAT NG TALATA
1. Gumamit ng pamatlig - ito, iyon, yaon
pangyayari.
5. Nagbibigay karagdagan – kaya, marapat lamang,
alalaong baga, at, at saka, bukod dito, gayon din
naman, hindi iyon lamang…
6. Nagpapakilala ng bunga – mangyari pa, bilang
bunga, bunga nito, ang wakas, magkagayon man, sa
ganyang paraan
III. Give Other, Original
Reasons/Analogies
In defense of your position, give reasons from
strong to strongest order.
Example : Taking money away from public
education is robbing children of their chance to
survive …
Use a literary or cultural allusion that lends to
your credibility and perceived intelligence
Example : We should render unto Caesar that
which belongs to him. Even Local Units are
giving supports through the 1% SEF…..
DAGDAGAN NG MGA NAKUHANG
IMPORMASYON AYON SA KURU-
KURO
Hal :
Matagal ng pinagtalunan sa mababang
kapulungan ang pagbabago ng batas
mula pa ng kasagsagan ng pag-upo ni
Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos sa taong 1992-
1998…….
IV. Conclude With Some Punch.
Give solutions or challenge the reader
Congress should look to where real wastes
exist — perhaps in defense and entitlements —
to find ways to save money. Digging into public
education's pocket hurts us all.
A quotation can be effective, especially if from
a respected source
A rhetorical question can be an effective
concluder as well
Example : If the government doesn't defend the
interests of children, who will?
•PAGWAWAKAS
1. Buod / Lagom –
Halimbawa : Samakatuwid, hindi kailangang
pagtalunan kung ano ang higit na mabisa sa
dalawang wika : Ingles o Filipino. Ang dapat
harapin ay ang pagpapaunlad ng kabuhayang
Pilipino sa anumang wikang nalalaman.
2. Katanungan –
Halimbawa : Muling pinahihintulutan ng
pamunuan ang karapatang magkaroon ng
paaralang pampahayagn sa eskwelahang ito na
matagal ding ipinagbawal ng mga nakaraang
pangasiwaan. Ito kaya’y magbunga ng mabuti?
•PAGWAWAKAS
3. Ulitin ang unang pinahayag –
Halimbawa : Tunay na masama ang dulot
ng droga sa mga kabataan. Dahil dito,
makabubuting ipasok sa Sentro ng
pampanibagong – buhay.
4. Angkop na sipi –
Halimbawa : Marapat lamang matanim sa
isipan ng mga kabataan ang sinabi ni
Andres Bonifacio na “ Anuman ang ibalot
mo sa iyong katawan, mananatili pa rin
ang iyong pagka – Pilipino.”
•PAGWAWAKAS
5. Panghuhula –
Halimbawa : Sa darating na panahon, maaaring
mahikayat ang mga kabataang maglaro ng
patintero sa mga gabing maliwanag ang
buwan at makinig sa mga kuwento ng mga
matatanda.
