• This school has a strong belief in
education along with public service
• The school had to shut down shortly
after it opened because of financial
problems during the Civil War
• The school was reopened in 1867
with the help of John Sargent
• This is school is one of the most prestigious public
schools in America

• Ranked 76th in by National Universities
