WHAT IS BADAC PLAN OF ACTION?

 Refers to a 3-year plan consisting of


projects and activities to strengthen the
campaign against illegal drugs.

 Formulated by the Barangay Anti-Drug


Abuse Council (BADAC)

 Component of the Barangay Peace and


Order and Public Safety (BPOPS) Plan

A process by which leaders of an organization


determine what it intends to be in the future
and how will it get there. (World Bank, nd)

A process by which a group or a community


define a vision and develop practical ways
to enact change through its own Vision,
Mission, Goals, Objectives, Strategies and
Action Plans. (Community Tool Box, 2016)

Problem Analysis is an analytical tool used


to:
- Analyse the existing situation
surrounding a given developmental
problem
- Identify the major problems and
constraints
- Visualize the cause-effect relationships

problem; and

 It describes the way to meet the objectives
with the following information:
• What PPAs to implement?
• Who will carry out the PPAs?
• What are the expected outputs of PPAs?
• When to take place and how long?
• What are the resources needed to
implement these PPAs?
WHY DEVELOP AN ACTION PLAN?

 To organize and harmonize all efforts to


address the problem;

 To ensure that all details are considered;

 To save time, energy, and resources in


the long run;

 To define accountability of the people


who will do what need to be done.
