CHYANGRA IN KHASIBAZAAR
(KALANKI & TOKOCHA)

INTRODUCTION
• The Chyangra Goat is a well-known breed of
mountain goats found in the high altitudes of the
Himalayan region
• Produces the world’s most expensive and finest
quality of luxurious cashmere wool.
OBJECTIVE

General Objective
• To determine the prevalence of endoparasite infection
in Chyangra in khasibazaar (kalanki & tokocha)
Methodology
• Site of sampling collection: Khasi bazar(kalanki &
tokocha)
• Total sample= 50
• Examination of sample is done in laboratory of HICAST
• Microscopic examination Sedimentation, floatation

DISCUSSIONS
• Total 50 samples were taken and out of which 9 samples
were found prevalence of parasite and making 18 %
prevalence percent
• 25 each samples were taken from khasi bazar(kalanki &
tokocha)
• Eimeria – 3 positive and Strongylus – 6 positive
• According to prevalence percent, presence of Eimeria is
33.33 % and Strongylus is 66.67 %
