2) Clutch disc
Maintaining uniform contact with the flywheel and pressure
plate.
The friction face smoothly transmits torque - and at the same
time preventing deformation and damage to the clutch plate
itself.
The damper springs are designed to absorb and alleviate
impact when torque is suddenly transmitted from the rear axle.

3) Clutch unit
Constantly transmitting force from the engine to the transmission.
(1)Coil spring type

Deformation against centrifugal force is prevented by the

spring guide.

obtained through the suitable selection of plate thickness and
height.

2. Troubleshooting

1. Clutch slip

Trouble Causes Chart

Clutch disc Clutch control

Facing wear No play in the master cylinder

Oil stuck to facing No play in release lever part

Decreased friction coefficient due to heat Faulty return (all control parts)

Clutch slip
Riding the clutch Pressure plate wear, damage, or deformation

Frequent half-clutching Flywheel wear, damage, or deformation

Clutch spring deterioration

Cause diagnosis
Clutch disc

Friction coefficient drop due to heat

The facing friction coefficient drops when the Ubun type facing
surface temperature rises.

Furthermore, as the temperature increases, the amount
of facing wear also increases rapidly.
