PARTY OF THE LORD OF LOCUMBA

The festival of the Lord of Locumba takes place in the district of Locumba, located in the province of Jorge
Basadre Grohmann, in the Tacna region. The traditional festival dates back to the colonial era, with the arrival of
the image of the Crucified Christ at Locumba.

The celebration of the Lord of Locumba takes place throughout the month of September with various tributes
offered by the population and public institutions of the region. The main day of celebration is September 14.
