 Province in the Central Luzon region of the
Philippines.
 Lying on the northern shore of Manila Bay,
Pampanga is bordered by Tarlac to the north,
Nueva Ecija to the northeast, Bulacan to the
east, the Manila Bay to the central-south,
Bataan to the southwest and Zambales to the
west.
 Its capital is the City of San Fernando.
 Pampanga came form the province’s names
which means river bank

 A landlocked province located in the Central
Luzon region of the Philippines.
 Bounded by the north by the province of
Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija on the east, Zambales
on the west and Pampanga in the south.
 Subdivided into 17 municipalities and one city,
Tarlac City, which is the provincial capital.
 The province is situated in the heartland of
Luzon

a talahib weed called Malatarlak.

statesman, soldier and politician who served
as president of the Commonwealth of the
Philippines from 1935 to 1944

name Plaridel, was a
Filipino writer, lawyer,

freemason. Del Pilar,
along with José Rizal and
Graciano López Jaena,
became known as the
leaders of the Reform
Movement in Spain. Del
Marcelo H. del Pilar Pilar was born and
