 It is designed to equip pupils with necessary materials 
to improve their achievement in learning.
 E.S. CLAVERIA TECHNIQUE
 Named  after  Erlinda  S.  Claveria,  the  one  who  introduced 
this technique in reading.
 This  technique  used  pictures  to  help  pupils  recognize  the 
letter and its sound.

 It aims to make every Filipino

his/her grade level.
 PHIL­IRI 
(PHILIPPINE INFORMAL READING 
INVENTORY)
 A  classroom­based  assessment  tool  that  measures 
the  learners’  reading  performance  in  both  English 
and  Filipino  languages  in  oral  reading,  silent 
reading and listening comprehension.
REMEDIAL READING PROGRAM
 This is done for slow and non­reader students.
 PEER TUTORING
 Students who are independent in reading are 
paired to teach the slow reader students.
