• Once the App is downloaded,
on Windows, click on the
‘Start’ menu and open the
App

• Start screencast-o-matic by
selecting ‘Use free version’

A window will open and you can start recording

Make sure your headset and mike are


properly plugged in and press the recording

Recording and saving your videos.

• Once you press the red button, you will have 3


seconds before the recording starts.
• When you are done recording, press the button
‘done’.
• You can then review your video.
• If you are satisfied with the result, you can
publish your video
• Save it as an .avi file rather than an .mp4 file.
• When the video is saved, click on ‘done with this
recording’ and ‘OK’ (the free web version does
not store videos on their website).
• Share your video through Google Drive.
