SOLIDITY
• People, things, information, and places “harden” over
time and therefore have limited mobility.
• Solid structures continue to be part of the world with
the increasing security at country and nationwide
borders.
TWO TYPES OF SOLIDITY

1. Land forms and bodies of water


Example: Mountains, Rivers, Oceans, Seas
2 . Man-made
Example: Great wall of China, Berlin wall, Nine-Dash line
LIQUIDITY

• Increasing ease of movement of people, things, information, and places in the


Global Age
• The globality of transactions and interactions of social networking sites is
impossible to stop.
• Global profit can be easily lost in a split-seconds decisions.
FLOWS

• Are the movement of people, things, places and information brought by


growing “porosity” of global limitations.
Example:
i. cuisines, traditions, and etc. being patronized and consumed by the
Filipinos.
ii. Illegal informations such as blogs, child pornography, immigrants recreating
ethnic enclaves in the other countries
