INTRODUCTION
1. Excessive usage of fossil fuels have led to the depletion
of their reserves and also resulted in the degradation
of the environment. This has led the researchers to
come up with renewable and eco friendly counterparts.

2. There are several renewable resources present which

include green fuels.
3. Green fuels are future generation renewable resources
which will be revolutionary in coming days.
PROBLEMS OF USING
PETROL AND DIESEL
 HIGH COST
 CAUSE ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION
 IMPORTED FROM OTHER COUNTRIES.
 INDIRECTLY AFFECT THE HUMAN BEINGS.
TO REMOVE THIS PROBLEM WE
NEED A PRODUCT WHICH IS…..
 LESS COSTLY.
 AVAILABLE FOR ALL THE POPULATION.
 REDUCE GLOBAL WARMING.
 PRODUCT WHICH CREATE LESS POLLUTION AND
LESS NOISE.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
 “Sustainable development is the development that
meets the needs of the present without compromising
the ability of future generation to meet their own
needs.”
GREEN FUEL
 Green Fuel is also known as biofuel. It is a type of fuel
distilled from plants and animal materials, believed by
some to be more environmentally friendly than the
widely-used fossil fuels that power most of the world.
 Some examples of green fuel are-biogas, CNG ,LPG,
hydrogen.
IMPACT OF GREEN FUEL
IN THE WORLD
 Gives us green Society.
 Keep us free from CO2.
 Gives us fresh environment. Impact of Green Fuel in
the World.
 Not harmful for human beings as well as animals and
plants.
BIOGAS
 Biogas is a clean and efficient fuel.
 It is a mixture of –
- METHANE
- CARBON DIOXIDE
- HYDROGEN
- HYDROGEN SULPHIDE.
 The chief constituent of biogas is methane(65%).
CNG
 It is cheaper than other fuel.
 It is lighter than air
 It releases less carbon
 It can be use as substitue fossil fuel for diesel, petrol.
 Less pollution and more efficiency.
 Low maintenance cost than other vehicles.
 It mixes easily and evenly in air.
LPG
 LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS.
 Flammable and heavier than air.
 Stored under pressure as liquid.
 Non-corrosive.
 When placed under high pressure in cylinders,it is
stored as liquid.
 Light in weight.
 It consist of 70% butane and 30% propane.
