• Blood clotting is an inborn mechanism of animals.

• Deep cuts can cause an excessive bleeding that can possibly
lead to death.
• Fast blood clotting is important to close the wound and
prevent excessive bleeding.
• Abundance of Bogambilya in the Philippines.
• Tannic acid content of Bogambilya.
 RESEARCH QUESTION

• Is Bogambilya (Bougainvillea spectabilis) leaf extract effective

to speed up the blood clotting time of mice?
 METHODOLOGY

• Subjects: 6 white male laboratory mice

 RECOMMENDATIONS

The researchers recommend to take lessons from

professionals on Oral or Intravenous procedures and use
this methods in experimentation to validate the potential of
Bogambilya leaves.
 CONCLUSION

The researacher's wanted to test out if the leaves extract of

Bogambilya (Bougainvillea spectabilis) will be effective in
speeding up the blood clotting time of mice. Base from the
experimentation and statistical analysis, the t-value is
greater than the critical value therefore reject null
hypothesis. The Bogambilya leaves extract is effective in
speeding up the blood clotting time of mice.
