 RCC NP2 pipe of 1400 mm diameter and 5000 m

length carry discharge of 80 MLD
 In existing Gravity main, due to poor construction
practice in pipe laying of RCC NP2 gravity main, there
were so many leakages found existing pipe. At some
point it creates back flow of water in gravity pipe line.
So water losses occur and it also creates water logging
problems in surrounding area.

 Also Intake well is situated at higher ground level of

lake and also due to uneven bed on lake, only 30%-40%
of stored water can be utilized and the remaining water
stored as a dead storage.
 Intake well is 6.0 m and total depth of Intake well is
16.0 m including pump house and Approach bridge of
4.0m width and length of bridge is 120.0m

 Raw water DI K-7 gravity main of diameter 1200mm

and length of pipe is 5.0km.

 Rising main from new Intake well to existing Rising

main to carry raw water.

 Pumping machinery and New Transformer.
