Pamphlet

Definition

A pamphlet is an unbound booklet (that is, without a hardcover or binding). It may consist of a single
sheet of paper that is printed on both sides and folded in half, in thirds, or in fourths (called a leaflet),
or it may consist of a few pages that are folded in half and saddle stapled at the crease to make a
simple book.
Purpose

To inform about products or services a target audience.

Generic Structure

1. Title --> the name of products or service offered in brochure

2. Contain --> the information given about the products or service offered in brochure
3. Contact person --> name, address, or phone
4. Number person to find out more information about something thats offered in brochure
5. Specific text --> brochure usually succlant in languange and eye catching in design and usually
using a headlines
Characteristic

1. His language is clear, concise, and persuasive.

2. Written in large print and large letters for easy reading
3. The actual theme.
Type of Pamphlet

1. Political Pamphlet, contains about things that smelled of politics such as invitations to vote for
candidates and other leaders.

2. Educational Pamphlet, contains information related to the world of education such as

academic competitions and others.

3. Commerce Pamphlet , contains information about the products, accompanied by sentence of

invitation to buy the product.

4. Pamphlet activities, contains about various events or activities such as seminars, art
performances and more.

contest. This competition is an annual English contest held
by SMAN 2 Lumajang. Rally english participants come from
junior high school and junior islamic high school all over
lumajang district. The competition consists of 3 rounds:
elimination, semi-final, and final.
