MATH PERFORMANCE TASK SURVEY

Objectives: This is a social media user survey so we can know and can build a
significant baseline of information on how individual students of Makati Hope
Christian School uses social media by the number of hours. We will also know
what kind of social media sites students mostly use.

•How many hour/s do you spend on using social media sites?

•Where do you spend social media for?

INTRODUCTION
Why are we collecting this data
We need to know how long students use social
media to find out if it affects grades. This is
important so we can know how we can help the
students in performing their academic activities.
They can share different social media sites so we
can share and know how to communicate to
others by social media sites.
INTRODUCTION

How we collected this data

We collected this data by surveying. Surveying is
a good way on collecting this data because
every person is unique so we can collect this
data.
WHAT KIND OF SAMPLING TECHNIQUES

 Systematic sampling, because it is a method in

which sample members from a larger
population are selected according to a random
starting point and a fixed periodic interval.
LEVELS OF MEASUREMENTS
 In nominal measurement the numerical values just "name" the
attribute uniquely. No ordering of the cases is implied.
 In ordinal measurement the attributes can be rank-ordered.
Distances between attributes do not have any meaning.
 In interval measurement the distance between
attributes does have meaning.
 in ratio measurement there is always an absolute zero that is
meaningful. This means that you can construct a meaningful
fraction (or ratio) with a ratio variable.

INTERPRETATION

 There are 50 students we surveyed. We

equalized boys and girls 25 and 25 so we can
know who has more hours using social media
sites. This has a result of 56.5 hours for the
boys and 54 hours for the girls. There are many
students that use social media sites short.
CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION

 To conclude, we did this survey with a reason

why we are conducting this survey. It is
because we can help you in your studies if you
spend social media sites just for fun. And for all
social media users that use this for studies just
keep on the good work! I recommend this to all
my friends so they can learn from their
mistakes.
