NOMINAL SENTENCE
Nominal sentences are sentences that do not contain
verbs or sentences whose predicate is not a verb but
To Be, a number of words afterwards are explanatory,
such as; Noun, Adjective or Adverb.

Nominal sentences are used to describe the relationship


between the subject and its complement, but do not
describe the existence of an action from the subject.

Noun is a word. Which is used to name something.


And nouns can be person, thing, animal, places,
and concepts

Adjective is a words used to explain


noun or pronoun. Adjective can be
person, thing, animal, places, and
concepts. And adjectives here are
shaped as phrases.

divided into 3 formulas:
1. Positive Formula
2. Negative Formula
3. Interrogative Formula

1. Positive Formula

Subject + To Be + Noun/Adjective/Adverb
Ex :

I am a Student They are soldiers

Subject + To Be + Not + Noun/Adjective/Adverb


Ex :

We are not da ncer They are not beautiful
