HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
In the late 19th century and
early 20th centuries.
Shinto was established as the
state religion of Japan.
Shinto came from
“Shentao/Shendao”.

beings or kami
Dao means “the way”
Shintoism means “the
way of the Kami”
