foreign govern ments and other entities
or organizations; protection of teritorial
boundaries; preservation of cultural
heritage and tradition; and upholding
the public interest and welfare. Politics
is often associated with the concept of
power and the exercise of legitimate
authority in a state
Governance?
Refers to all actions and activities
related to governing. It is defined
by the interaction and decision –
making among policy-makers,
public officials, and citizens
involved in addressing collective
problems. These interactions lead
to the creation and reinforcement
of social norms and institutions
