1.Collecting- gathering information through data,
experience and interview
Involves observing, imagining, thinking, reading,
listening, investigating, experimenting and writing.
2.Shaping- reflection taken from facts, ideas,
circumstances that you have collected.

start from the middle goes back to the beginning

3. Drafting- writers make an outline of the events of the essay

4. Revising- Writers will revise their drafts several times such as
re-arranging the sequence of the essay.
 Editing stage which you can add, delete, substitute words,
sentences and paragraphs.

that is supporting the thesis statement.
7. Write a conclusion
 sums up the main ideas and provides impression to the readers
8. Revise your essay after writing the first draft by re-reading and
asking questions to improve and trim the written text for the
introduction, body and conclusion clear to the readers.
9. Compose a second draft from the revision
10. Proofread for grammar and spelling by reading your work
backwards from conclusion to introduction or by reading out loud.
