• In modern times the emphasis is on subjective experience of a
sacred dimension[1] and the "deepest values and meanings by
which people live,"[2][3]
• Anima mundi is the concept of a "world soul" connecting all
living organisms on planet Earth.

acquire self-knowledge (atma jnana), which is to realize that
one's true self (Ātman) is identical with the transcendent
self Brahman.[54][57]
