• Passive Voice or commonly called passive sentences. Active voice and Passive voice
actually have the same meaning in the sentence. The difference is that active voice
states the subject is active in doing work, while passive voice states the subject is

• in English, Passive voice is a type of sentence or clause in which the subject receives the
action of the verb. Or in short, Passive Voice is a type of sentence or clause in which the
subject receives action from a verb or is subject to work.

• Passive Voice formula


• Just like tenses in general, Passive Voice also uses formulas to compile it. The formula
used is as follows.
• S + be + past participle + By agent
• Information :
• S: subject
• Be: auxiliary verb / to be (am, is, are, was, were, etc.)
• Past participle: verb 3 (third form of verb)
