THE MIRACLES OF

JESUS CHRIST
Miracle is a divine
operation that transcends
what is normally perceived
as natural law; it cannot be
explained upon any natural
basis.
Jesus Christ performed many miracles,
demonstrating his power over nature
and spirits. While Jesus Christ
performed innumerable healings and
exorcisms, the following chart lists are
the specific miracles of Jesus Christ
during his public ministry.
First Miraculous Catch of Fish

When Christ
speaks, it is
always about
obedience to
God’s way of
life.

Luke 5:1-11
Jesus Heals Two Blind Men
If we desire
blessings from
God, we have to
persevere in
pursuing them.
God does not
usually give
special blessings
to those who
seek them half-
heartedly.

Matthew 9:27-31
Bartimaeus was a blind beggar who called out
to Jesus for mercy and healing. The faith of
Bartimaeus is seen in how he addresses Jesus
as the Son of God. While the crowd tells the
blind man to be quiet, Bartimaus just
became louder! When Jesus tells his disciples
to bring the blind man over, a miracle
happens because of his faith.
Jesus Walks on Water

To reveal his
divinity.

Matthew 14:22-33
Mark 6:45-52
John 6:16-21
22 And at once he made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to the other
side while he sent the crowds away. 23 After sending the crowds away he went up into
the hills by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,24 while the boat,
by now some furlongs from land, was hard pressed by rough waves, for there was a
head-wind. 25 In the fourth watch of the night he came towards them, walking on the
sea, 26 and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified. 'It is a
ghost,' they said, and cried out in fear. 27 But at once Jesus called out to them, saying,
'Courage! It's me! Don't be afraid.‘ 28 It was Peter who answered. 'Lord,' he said, 'if it is
you, tell me to come to you across the water.‘ 29 Jesus said, 'Come.' Then Peter got out
of the boat and started walking towards Jesus across the water, 30 but then noticing the
wind, he took fright and began to sink. 'Lord,' he cried, 'save me!'31 Jesus put out his
hand at once and held him. 'You have so little faith,' he said, 'why did you doubt?‘ 32
And as they got into the boat the wind dropped. 33 The men in the boat bowed down
before him and said, 'Truly, you are the Son of God.'
Jesus raises Lazarus from the Dead

This shows our

relationship with God.
He said that the one
who believes him even
though they die they
will be resurrected and
whoever lives by
believing God will
never die.

John 11:1-44
Lazarus Of Bethany also
known as Saint Lazarus or
Lazarus of the Four Days.
-Feast Day : December 17
Jesus knew that Lazarus would die if he did
not heal him but he chose not to heal him for
one clear reason:

So that He will be glorified and so that the

disciples would believe him.
Although Lazarus was clearly killed by his
sickness, the reason his sickness was not to “end
in death” was because Jesus knew that what
He was going to do. It was God’s will that
Lazarus would die from his sickness so that
Jesus would raised him up from the grave. In
so doing, God and his Son would be glorified,
and the miracle would cause the disciples to
believe in who Jesus was.
