Data Migration from Aii/OER to ATTP

Data Migration approach

• Integration of Master Data from ECC to ATTP, covered by

standard tools
• Migration of Serial Numbers from OER to ATTP, covered by
custom development and standard tools.
• 2 steps approach: Extraction (formatting, cleansing) + Loading
• Migration of Event Data from OER to ATTP, covered by
custom development.
• 2 steps approach: Extraction (cleansing) + Loading (Posting)
• Partial Migration (IDs not yet shipped to customer)
• Data reconciliation

11
DM Suggested strategy

12
DM Integration of Master Data (1-4)

13
Master data in SAP ECC

• Material master (serialized or S&T) – Trade Items

– Existing data relevant to serialisation in current solution.

• Customer master – Business Partner

– These include direct customers, 3PLs, affiliates with own
warehouse facilities and customers where Roche serves as CMO.

• Vendor master (CMOs) – Business Partner

– Vendors are CMOs producing serialized finished goods for Roche.

• Plants – Locations (GLNs)

– Locations/GLNs are production sites and 3PLs.

14
Co-existence of serialized and non-
serialized products
• Handled by master data setup in ECC
• Each material will be either:
• Non serialized
• Serialized
• Serialized and Traced
• Lot Managed
• =>Materials are managed for the flow they
must follow

Example solutions for inspiration

INTERNAL USE
ECC/ATTP Scanner programs
- example solutions – Designed by NNIT

1. Scanner programs built using

the warehouse toolbox building
blocks.

2. Full hierarchy retrieved from

ATTP repository using NNIT
proprietary optimized RFC.

3. All scanner programs updates

both ECC and ATTP and works
for all types of serialization
(and non-serialization).
Goods receipt by scanner
- example solution – Designed by NNIT

• Validate SSCC in ATTP

• Create SSCC as HU in ECC

• Use packaging instructions in

ECC

• Use data from both ECC and

ATTP

• Post GR in ECC
• Post receiving event in ATTP
Load and GI by scanner
- example solution – Designed by NNIT

• Validate HU in ECC
• Status and delivery

• Validate SSCC/HU in ATTP

• Status and quantity

• Post GI in ECC

• Post shipping event in ATTP
