SD N 25 MOKO, WAISAI,
RAJA AMPAT
1. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SD N 25 MOKO

SD N 25 Moko Raja Ampat is a formal educational

institute that is owned by the local government. It is
located in Moko Permai Street, 200 Bonkawir
Residence, Waisai, Raja Ampat.

SD N 25 Moko uses KTSP (Kurikulum Tingkat

Satuan Pendidikan) to be the curriculum used in
teaching and learning process.

The teaching and learning process is due to on

Monday, August 22nd, 2016 to Wednesday, 24th, 2016
and started at 07.30 am – 11.30 am.
2. OBSERVATION AND DESCRIBTION OF THE
STUDENT OUTREACH ACTIVITIES

A. Observation
SD N 25 Moko is a school preparation has been passed
three force with the equality of education that can be
equated with other school in Raja Ampat District.

 Situation of physical school

A building area of the school is 100m x 80m.
The school has 6 classrooms (grade-1 to grade-6 with
size 4m x 6m each class. A room for the head of the
school, a room for teachers, a library, and two toilets.
 Situation of school’s area (layout area)

The northern borders with SMA N 1 Moko

The sothern borders with SMP N 21 Moko
The eastern borders with forest
The western borders with residents’ houses

 Condition of school’s area

The environment of the school are good

enough and calm, because location of the school
is far away from city centre and crowd, so that the
learning and teaching process more conducive.
 Situation of teachers and students

Total of teacher :
A head of school, 11 teachers, and 2 honorary.

Total of student :
Overall number of students are 139 and divided into 6
classes with approximately 20-25 students per class (count
with two students of grade-4 were moved). Those are :

Grade-1 : 21 students
Grade-2 : 22 students
Grade-3 : 20 students
Grade-4 : 26 students
Grade-5 : 24 students
Grade-6 : 24 students
B. The Description of Students Outreach Activities

1. Kinds of Activities
There are two main activities done during the students’
outreach in Waisai, Raja Ampat in SD N 25 Moko. Those are
teaching activity that is done started on Monday 22th
August 2016 until Wednesday 24th 2016.

2. Teaching Activities
In our teaching practice at SD N 25 Moko, lesson plan
that we made are based on the result of the observation on
students competence. Students’ capabilities to master
English are less. So, we made the lesson plans are
formulated in mini/simple lesson plan which consist of pre-
activity, while-activity, and close activity.
3. CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

1. Coclusion
Students’ outreach academic year 2013 at SD N 25 Moko,
Waisai, Raja Ampat was conducted from Monday, November 22,
2016 until Wednesday, November 24, 2016. Some considerations
are taken when we choose the school for the activity.

In teaching activities, we learn how to arrange lesson and

practice teaching in class. It is essential to improve teaching skill of
us.
2. Suggestion

We have some suggestion after teach in SD N 25 Moko,

those are :

1. The scool must have the media for students’ talent,

because we saw that some students have the talent in
English like read poetry, sing an English song,etc.

2. The students have to learn more about English, not just in

the school, but also in the home.

3. The students need the teacher with English skill that able to
handle the students and give a great material that will be
shape the students’ because the students will be more
interest and motivate to learn English.
