Text The address is written at the top right

Letter
 Introduction (Opening)
The opening of a letter usually begins with an opening
such as a response from the previous letter or it can also
be the beginning of self-introduction if you just started the
correspondence
 Body (Letter Contents)
This section is the content or core of the letter. In this
section, we tell the contents of the letter that we want to
tell
 Closure
This section indicates that the letter will end soon
 Complimentary Close
This section is a short closing expression like, “With
love”, “Sincerely yours”, and so on
 Signature
This section is placed below the complimentary close,
we can put our signature or we can just initialize our
name

 Accuracy of grammar is important
 Complete sentences are expected
 Slang can be used
 Use the contractions such as : I’ll, I’m, we’ll
Language  Use personal pronouns such as : I, we, you

 Language use may be personal. For example, first and
second person pronouns may be frequently used

Function  Letters are not only written to inform but to strengthen
the bond between two people or more.
 Place and Date: It tells about the specific time the letter is
written
 Recipient Address: It contains the complete postal address
of the receiver of the message
 Greeting: An interjaction that is used to open the
conversation of the letter
Text  Body: All kinds of letter formal or informal have the letter
organization body. This is the complete text of the letter or the subject
matter content.
 Closing: It is the farewell phrase. That is a word that
precedes the signature and is followed by a comma. The
phrases can be like; Yours truly, Sincerely, Respectfully
yours, Regards, etc.
 Signature: This the place where you writ your name and
signature.
 Sentence Structure
Accuracy of grammar may be more important than an
email. Most of the time, complete sentence are
expected
 Style
Language May not be as formal as official letter writing.

In the first letter , she ( Anne ) tell tia about her hometown
and her school.
On the second letter , rahul tell about how vicky seems a bit
depressed on his last visit in the hospital and give him some
motivation to make rahul feel relaxed , also when vicky come

Function On the third letter, the writter tell mona about her summer
holiday.
On the fourt letter , Aditi reply to maya’s letter and say about
what she was doing her work on that time. She also say if
maya comeback to home she will make time and meetup.
