Abstract
Due to growing population the number of vehicle increases, which lead to increase in air pollution. Go-
karting is a growing part in the automobile sector. In order to control air pollution, we aim to design an electric kart which
is environmental friendly as it cause no pollution.

This investigates the performance of a racing go-kart which usually runs on petrol engine is made to
run on electrical brushless DC motor (BLDC) with the help of batteries connected in series to acquire the required
potential difference to power up the motor and to increase the efficiency of the battery output with the help of an
alternator.

over the world.

Hence
 the working of I.C engine does not
contribute anything to ecosystem, instead it harms
the ecosystem due to smoke pollution.
The
 basic change is that the GO-KART which
usually runs on petrol engine in todays date is
made to run on battery operated DC motor

than 60%). So that these electric vehicles can substitute I.C engine vehicles, which are main cause of
environment pollution. To develop kart various type of modelling and simulation were done on
INVENTOR and ANSYS 14.0. Different type of test were also taken into account like Brake test, Speed
test, Power test, Load test, and efficiency test. This paper also motivates student in developing vehicles
so that they can excel their knowledge and assist in research of electric vehicles.
2. Design and fabrication of cost effective electric go kart, IRJET, April 2018
This paper aims to design and development of working model of cost effective electric go-kart. Main
objective behind designing and fabricating the electric go -kart is to make it available in cheap price,
making it simple in working for even nonprofessional drivers, increasing is strength so that it can sustain
more weight and providing it with all the best available facilities in lower cost .

A go-kart just under Rs. 100000/-. So we are sure that our project will have a high demand in the industry and
also we are hoping to get orders from the racing guns. This paper concentrates on explaining the design and
engineering aspects of making a Go Kart .This report explains objectives, assumptions and calculations made
in designing a Go Kart. The design is chosen such that the Kart is easy to fabricate in every possible aspect.

6. Fabrication and Manuacturing of Go-kart, Jignesh Laxman Fadale, June 2017

The main objective of car is to make that car within a time, without any loss of time. So the remaining time can
be utilized to increases the performance of car to get better result in racing. Most of time is wasted in
manufacturing and fabricating various parts of car. There are various reason that we have founded such
availability of machinery, availability of electricity, skill person etc. which affect vastly the completion time of
project. But there are several locations of project where without affecting it we can maintain performance of
project and achieve desirable project within time.

Analysis is performed on Go-Kart basically for weight reduction and testing the designed components.
Front Impact, Rear impact, Side impact and torsion analysis is performed on the chassis. Other
components of Go kart are also analyse for better factor of safety and weight reduction.

Conference Paper · February 2014
In this report, the performance of four wheels steered vehicle model is considered which is optimally
controlled during a lane change the movement in three type of condition which is low speed, medium
speed and high speed. Four-Wheel Steering – Rear Wheels ControlAt higher speeds, the rest wheels
steer in the same direction as the front wheels. The result is more stability and less body lean during fast
lane changes and turns because the front wheels don’t have to drag non-steering rear wheels onto the
path.
