Mount Hibok-Hibok is a stratovolcano on Camiguin
Island in the Philippines.
Trivia:
Mount Hibok-Hibok is one of the active volcanoes in the
country and part of the Pacific ring of fire.
Mount Hibo-Hibok is also known as Catarman Volcano
Since Hibok-Hibok is a Stratovolcano we can say
that the volcano was built up by many layers of
 Formation hardened lava, tephra, pumice and ash.
Resulting to the formation of the Hibok-Hibok
Volcano that we know today.

modern history.

1827 and a similar
activity followed in 1862

Since Mt.Makaturing is a
Stratovolcano we can say that
it is the same as Hibok-Hibok,
the volcano was built up by
many layers of hardened lava,
tephra, pumice and ash.
 History of
Eruption
There is still some controversy on the number
of times Makaturing erupted. The Philippine
Institute of Volcanology and Seismology lists
10 eruptions with the last one occurring on
March 18, 1882. But the Smithsonian
Institution's Global Volcanology Program,
citing the Catalog of Active Volcanoes of the
World (Neumann van Padang, 1953), suggests
that some eruptions were actually those of
neighboring Ragang volcano.
