Introduction
• Solar phone chargers is a
separate device that uses a
small solar panel to absorb
light and then converted
into electricity which used
by the mobile battery.
• Multiple phone can be
charged.
• Same device can be used for
different phones.
Solar Panel
A solar panel is a set of solar
photovoltaic modules
electrically connected and
mounted on a supporting
structure.
A photovoltaic module is a
packaged, connected
assembly of solar cell.
Most efficient : 46%.
Average efficiency: 15-20%.

Not a smart phone
Talktime of 8 minutes in 1
hour
Samsung Blue Earth: The World First Solar
Powered Touchscreen Phone in Action
10 minutes of sunlight to
provide 2.25 minutes of talk
time.
Advantages
Basically the solar mobile charger is designed for charging mobile battery. But
in future, by making some modifications we can use this charger to charge
batteries used in different portable devices like laptop, walky-talky, digital
camera etc.
Cost of this circuitry can be reduced to certain extend so that common man
can easily purchase that and get benefit from that.
