• The new seven wonder of the world was compiled by
popular vote
Over six yeas period by a non-profit group headed by Swiss
adventurer Bernard weber. In 1999 weber began collecting
suggestion form internet user around the world.
A list of over 200 nominations was narrowed down to 21
and finally to7.the group reported more than 100 million
votes reeved via the internet and cell phone message.
 The Great Wall Of China
• A 4’160 mile wall was built to protect china from
invading Huns, Mongols, and other tribe. And unite
fortications into one defames system. Began inventory
b.c the barricade took hinder of years to build and
ranks as the as the worlds longest man made structure
and is the only one visible place form space.
• Best time to go; plan for a spring or fall trip weather is
nicer and fewer people visit. summer time is often hot
and crowded, and winter can bitterly cold northern
china.
 Petra and Jordan
o Ancient capital city was built around 9b.c. during the
region of king areas iv and continued to grow during the
roman empire
o People today may recognize it form the 1989 movie
‘Indiana jones and the last crusade’ ’but during the
classical heyday of Greece and Rome, it was known as an
important caravan stop between the abandon. But its
desert location preserved much of it through the centuries.
o Best time to go; summer can get very hot in Jordan, and
winter is much colder than you may realize. Weather-wise ,
aim for spring or fall.
 Christ Redeemer Statue- Brazil
Standing 125 feet tall at top the

April to October ( through weather in the
Andes is hard to predict). Peak crowds are
through august.
Pyramid At Chichen Itza-mexico
 The centre of Mayan civilization in its day , chichen itza is
still visible in several structure, including the pyramid of
kukulkan.
 Best time to go: go early in the mooring before it go too
hot and cruse ship passengers form Cancun arrive. People
aslo go for spring and fall equines for unbelieve shadow
show—but expect huge crowds then.
 Roman Colosseum – Itay

ii. Best time to go: you'll find fewer tourist there
during roman’s low season( winter), weekdays
and during the opening hour (8:30)or near
closing time ( varies during time of year ).if you
show up in summer at midday , it going to be
very hot!
 Taj Mahal – India

combines Indian ,Persian, and Islamic style of
architecture. The stunningly beautiful structure,
considered the height of indo-Islamic
architecture , was completed in1648.
B. Best time to go ; late spring and early summer
in this part of India often brutal heat ( but fewer
crowds). Then come monsoons. November to
February is the best chance plants weather. The
sunrises here are highly admired.
