    Washing patient’s hair

    Prepare Instruments

    Bucket
    WASH HANDS WITH 7 STEPS AND
    DRY IT
    Apply clean gloves
    Tell the patient the whys and when. He should
    know the schedules and the reason why he is
    shampooed.
    Place the patient’s head in the inflatable shampoo basin .
    Start rinsing the patient’s hair
    Make sure that the water drain into bucket
    Apply a small amount of shampoo
    Lather up and start massaging the
    scalp
    Rinse off shampoo
    Wipe hair dry with a towel
    Help the patient to comb
    • After that, tell the patient that the procedure has
    been done

    • Then tidy up the instruments.


    • Next, put off the gloves.
    • The last, wash hand in 7 steps and dry it.
