POVERTY
What is poverty?

 Poverty can be defined as the lack of needs in
life which include water, food, secure place,
clothing and etc.
 Poverty is the scarcity or the lack of a certain
amount of material possessions or money.
 Poverty is a multifaceted concept, which may
include social, economic, and political elements.
 It can be seen that the people who live in
poverty have hard time to get the things that
they desired.
Causes of poverty

 Unemployment
- Situation where a person does not have a job to
do.
- Loss of income.
- Tends to borrow money from others to support
their needs.

 War & crimes


- Spending their money to buy or create weapons
- deep in debt
- economy of the countries will decline
Effects of poverty

 Malnutrition
- People are not able to get sufficient food to
maintain their health.
- Children will be lacking in their health which
includes poor mental and physical development,
stunted growth and also diseases.

 Impacts the effort to educate children.


- Having difficulties to find money for education.
- Children are not having books and also enough
facilities.
Way to reduce poverty

Develop diplomatic relationship with
other developed countries.
- Become business partners and earn
money through it.
- Creating a good relationship between
countries.
- Providing help at the right time.
