Structure of the education system
First level:
Nursey education.
Primary education.
 Second level:
Secondary education .
- Collége.

Third level:
Higher education (lycée)
MAIN FEATURES.
Compulsory from 6 years schooling.
Right to schooling from 3 years.
Free education for children between 6 and 16 years.
The system adapts to new educational methods,
modern technology and users´ expectations..
In public schools, classes average about 20-25
students.
FIRST LEVEL
Nursey school
- Is for children aged 3 to 5.
Primary educational.
- It is taught in the ecole élémentaire.
- Compulsory education.
- Students between 6 and 11 years.(5 course)
Goals
-learning citizenship.
- Basic elements of knowledge.
SECOND LEVEL
COLLEGE
Compulsory education
For students aged 11 to 15 who have completed primary
education.
It is a single cycle: the same education is provided to
all students.
At the end of this cycle obtains the National diploma
certifying the end of this stage.
SECOND LEVEL
LYCÉE
Is taught in the same center as the Collége.
No compulsory education.
For students between 15 and 18 are national diploma.
Three ways of teaching:
School of general education and tecnology (3 courses)
Professional school (2 courses)
Professional High school (3-2 courses)
Degree: Baccalauréat y Baccalauréat proffesionnel
THIRD LEVEL
HIGHER EDUACATION
Great diversity of centers
Universities
Baccalauréat is required or equivalent certificate.
There are the following degree.
First cycle: General University Studies
Second cycle: licence and maitrise.
Third cycle: graduate studies diploma.
Teaching English in France

Students in college are interested in teaching assistant


in foreign languages and them they have bachelo´s
degree.
