Types according to context

1 Ideally in community diagnosis the survey is


done of entire village, towns, or locality
Eg: whole Hyamja, whole phulbari

2 But not all the household is taken for survey, we


take random sample of households from where we
collect data
Types of CD

1. Residential ( staying for 15 to 30 days in the


village to conduct CD)
It is not done in our college

2. Non – Residential (family visits)


every day going and spending about one hr
and coming back to college , and is continued
for at least 10 days
