ROBOTICS AND HUMANITY

- a machine that and

can do the work of a

in offices or hospitals or fire fighting robot.
ROLES PLAYED BY ROBOTICS

Law One:
A robot may not injured a human being or
through inaction, allow a human being to come
to harm.
Law Two:
The robots must obey the orders given it by
humans beings except where such orders
would conflict with the first law.
Law Three:
A robot must protect its own existence as
long as protection does not conflict with the
first and second law.
Ethical Dilemmas/s Faced by Robotics
• The safety of robots
• The emotional component
• Partial autonomy and Full autonomy
(Partial autonomy includes active human-
robots while full excludes Active human-robots
interaction)
• Robot Deviated the law specified
• Rights of the robots to be given their own set
of rights should they develop the ability to feel
different kind of emotion.
