Product Background

REVOLVE.

The Smart Ring for Fitness, Stress, Sleep, Health, and Safety.

Disregard the discomfort and the easy distraction caused by smartwatches and replace them

with Revolve, the innovative smart ring. With the simple connection through Bluetooth and

the installation of our app. The one-touch display or raise of the hand makes it easy and

economical to see the time and your notifications. As notifications are sent on the connected

phone, the Revolve Band will notify the wearer with a slight vibration through the ring, and

the icon of the app will be displayed. This will allow persons to establish the urgency of the

notification before checking their phones. The pulse sensor, optical heart rate sensor, three-

axis accelerometer sensor, and pedometer located at the bottom center of the ring will be able

to notify the wearer of their pulse rate, heart rate, sleep pose and activity, and their daily steps

through the app. With permission for payment, the Revolve Band is eligible for one-tap

payment by tapping the face on the payment receiver. This provides a simple and contactless

way to pay for one's everyday transactions.

Introducing Revolve 360, the installed GPS monitor will provide a location safety feature that

connects the persons that mean the most. Revolve 360 will also offer the rings at discounted

prices for families of 4 and more. The powerful and technological Revolve Band is

rechargeable with a special wireless to USB-c type cord for fast and economical charging.

Revolve allows its customers to be unique with a selection of 5 colors to choose from. Ring

What makes the Revolve Band unique? The revolve band replaces your uncomfortable, big-

display smartwatches at an affordable cost. Revolve offers liberty to users to do away with

the wrist trackers but still have the ability to be inclined with their fitness, health, and safety

while still being sleek and stylish. Families are attracted by the Revolve 360 motive which

allows them to ensure that their loved ones are always safe, considering the rise in crime rate

and the high chances that one's phone can be out of charge. Technology-savvy persons are

truly intrigued by the Revolve Bands' innovation and compactness. The Revolve Band allows

working professionals to keep in touch with their devices and family while being discreet and

without ruining their sleek persona. Children between the ages of 12-16 will have regulated

access to features through the app but are able to enjoy the innovation of its technology and

Target Market

We aim for Revolve to be most suitable for all persons willing to purchase. However, we

target Persons aged twelve to forty, Technology- Savvy Adults, Working Professionals,

Families, and Persons inclined toward health and fitness.

Why is our target market for persons between the ages of 12- 40 years, you may ask? This is

because the Revolve Band is an advanced tool that has many features. Including Wireless

Bluetooth, pulse and heart rate checks, touch-for-time display, and GPS, it can also calculate

sleep waves. But being tech-savvy is just a plus when operating the Revolve Band. Our

device can also be a benefit for persons who are health and fitness inclined. As stated above,

the Revolve Band can monitor one’s heart and pulse rate. However, unlike a smartphone or

smartwatch, the Revolve Band acts discreetly and is completely lightweight in comparison to

a phone or watch. Therefore, purchasing the Revolve Band would allow you to work out

effortlessly and thoughtlessly. There would be no concerns about your smartphone or

smartwatch dropping out of or off your hand or, worst, stolen. With the Revolve Band, all

these concerns are gone. So, evolve and join the Revolve family!

How does the Revolve Band plan on catering for you? Well, let me enlighten you. We are

family-oriented, meaning we cater to your family by providing a feature on the Revolve Band

called “Revolve 360”, which allows each family member to share their location. This feature

provides a sense of safety to each member of the household. It also comes in handy for short

messages like SMS, which they would see at once because of the ring’s sensory vibrations.

With the Revolve Band, little to no technical expertise is necessary. There are also many

familiar signs, symbols, and icons to help guide you along the way. Some of these icons may

include the calendar, the messages icon, the phone icon, the timers’, the weather, and the

clock icon, etc. This device is not excluded from anyone and is not gender-based but is open

to purchase for all people. Why do I, a working professional, want or need a Revolve Band?

For one, this is one of the most efficient devices created. For example, if you are in a business

meeting and your smartphone or smartwatch vibrates or goes off, it can be seen as distracting

or, worst, rude. Having a Revolve Band eliminates these factors and makes it less noticeable

to feel these vibrations and to check these messages. Therefore, my advice is to think smarter

and not harder, be different, think differently, and “Ring Different”!

Persuasive Techniques

The first persuasive technique that we will utilize is a slogan. Our slogan is as quoted

“Ring Different”. This slogan will be advertised on billboards across the country. The

first billboard will be in the small lot in front of the Town House Mega Store. This

location was chosen because of this road’s constant traffic throughout the day; therefore,

this will allow our potential customers to take notice of our product. Another billboard

will be placed on Friars Hill Road as this road too is always busy. The location of the

billboard is also at a place that can be seen from a far distance which is just the right

advertising for our business needs. We also plan to advertise on the digital billboards located

on Market Street and Old Parham Road as these roads are popular for bumper-to-bumper

traffic. Furthermore, we plan to advertise on ZDK (97.1) and Vibz FM (92.9) as these two

radio stations are converse for our target market. We intend to sponsor at least an hour or two

at each radio station so that the DJs will mention our product several times throughout the

sponsored hour. ZDK radio station tends to have older or middle-aged listeners who are most

likely eligible to purchase our device, while Vibz FM radio station may have a younger

population of listeners who are more likely to be tech – savvy and would be interested in our

product.

Another technique we will utilize is the Influencer Technique. Our company will send a

promotional box enclosed with the smart right, our Revolve Band, and other promotional

paraphernalia such as a t-shirt, hat, and stainless-steel water bottle. These YouTube

Influencers will then produce a detailed unbiased review of the Revolve Band. These

experts are known as Zola Tech with a following of 1.2 million, Justine with a following

of 7.09 million, and lastly Marques Brownlee with the largest following of 16.3 million.

During her review, Zola commended the Revolve Band for its innovation and its appealing

features such as its GPS. While Justine commented on its affordability, fast economical

charging, and just the discreetness of the device. Marques Brownlee also mentioned how

slick and stylish the Revolve Band is. He further mentioned how handy this ring can be

for persons who are interested in fitness and would like their heart and pulse rates to be

checked. Lastly, he stated that his favorite feature was the Revolve 360 as it is a great

way to keep a tab on each family member’s location. He also applauded the 5 percent

discount on the purchase of the ring when each family member is added.

The final technique that we will utilize is the Band Wagon technique. Serena Williams,

Justin Timberlake and Skai Jackson will be commissioned to ignite a hashtag

#evolvewithrevolve giving reason to what they love most about the Revolve Band. To do

this we will be utilizing four (4) social media platforms Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and

TikTok. Furthermore, they would urge followers at home to say what they love most

about the Revolve Band. Therefore, more and more teenagers and adults can be easily

influenced to purchase our product and join the hashtag clang to share what they love

about the Revolve Band.

Discussion of Selected Techniques

Our slogan, ‘Think Different’ was created to broadcast a positive image of the product

and make a good impression on our consumers. This will grab a customer’s attention

more rapidly than the name of the business or product. It will help our customers to

have a better understanding of what we stand for as a company and with this product.

We chose a Slogan for our first technique, because we believe the slogan will show

what our brand represent. Our marketing team collectively decided that the best way

to get people familiarized with our slogan is to incorporate it into a billboard ad. We

utilized three prime locations for the billboard display. Prior to the selection of our

technique and implementation, our market research team conducted a market

research. The information collected from this research is what we utilized to

determined where would be best to situate these billboards. We decided to place a

billboard each by Townhouse Mega Store, Market Street and Old Paraham Road

given that they were the most frequent roads use by our target market. Our target

market either use these roads to reach to work or to get home, which made it the best

places to put up our billboard to capture our target market attention about the product.

Additionally, we decided we needed to utilize radio ads as an additional way to get

the attention of our target market. A method that is inclusive of persons who do not

frequent billboard posts and or those that are visually impaired. We selected VibzFM

(92.9) and ZDK (97.1) to advertise our slogan. We purchase an hour on both radio

station, in which we had a pre- recorded advertisement which would have been played

during every commercial break during this hour. VibzFM radio station was chosen to

reach our younger target market while ZDK radio station was used to reach our senior

target market. Based on the market information previously collected. This way, we will

ensure that both target markets were informed about our product in the best way possible.

Influencer testimonial was the second technique chosen. This technique aids to

increase credibility, which in turn increase sales, resulting to business growth.

Influencer technique allows the business to gain more costumers due to positive

comments about the service or product. This is a quick way to highlight the positives

of the product and the features other companies don’t have. We selected YouTube

influencers Zola tech, Justine and Marque Brownlee because during our market

research these were the top choices our target market had selected when asked who

were their top three YouTube influencers for reviewing technology and putting out a

good word. We also conducted our research on the YouTubers and their

followings. Our target market is between the age of 12-40 which eighty percent of

their followers were of that age, which made them the best option. We use each

influencer to speak about the different type of features that the Revolve Band has. This

was done to give our target market a better understanding of how the product

works. Another reason we chose these three influencers is that they all have their own

unique technique which would help to expand on why the Revolve Band is best to use.

Zola tech will explain the correct way to use of the band due to his well understanding of

technology which makes them a great candidate for the job. Justine will then

communicate directly with her followers on her ijustine.tv channel, where she will

speak about the affordability of the Revolve band, how stylish it is and why it goes

well with all of their outfits. Lastly, Marque Brownlee who is best known for his

technology videos, will then capture our target market’s attention after posting a video

of the features of the band and why he thinks they should purchase it. These three-

influencers combined contribute to our goal in capturing our target market

attention and to increase our sale.

The bandwagon technique was the last technique chosen because we know that our target

market is at a very influential age. So, the things their friends, favorite celebrity, and the

people around them have, they feel inclined to have as well. This will assist us to attract

more customers because they want to be a part of that in crowed. For our bandwagon, we

chose Serena Williams, Justin Timberlake, and Skai Jackson for this technique. We try to

utilize different social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok

because market research shows that our target market has a varying level of social media

activity based on platform, age, and interests. Thus, when checking for the latest updates,

the most frequently checked app depended on age group, etc. Since the age group of our

target market is so broad, we must utilize all four to adequately get the attention of all our

customers. This is where our three celebrity comes in, they will post on their social media

page with the hashtag (#evolvewithrevlove) explaining why they should purchase the

product that they love. This will lead to our target market wanting to purchase the

Revolve band because their favorite celebrity has it and is saying remarkable things about

the product.
