Laboratory Oven
• Laboratory ovens are standard equipment found in most research, clinical and forensic laboratories. Ovens are
available in gravity (natural), mechanical (forced) convection, and vacuum
pump for routine heating and drying applications.
For labs with temperature uniformity, stability and
accuracy requirements, advanced protocol ovens
are available to meet demanding requirements. Convection
ovens are used for application such as drying, baking,
sterilizing, pre-heating, and, incubation. Forced convection
ovens use a fan to circulate air around the inside of the
chamber. Natural convection relies on temperature differences
within the oven, to transfer heat to samples. Vacuum drying ovens
introduce dry air into the chamber within a short time, which absorbs humidity and is immediately extracted by the
vacuum pump.
Vacuum drying ovens are used for delicate drying processes. When
choosing an oven, consider applications, dimension, capacity and lab budget.
Look for features that guarantee maximum sample and user protection.
China Dish

• An evaporating dish is a piece of laboratory glassware used for the

evaporation of solutions and supernatant liquids,[note 1] and sometimes
to their melting point. Evaporating dishes are used to evaporate
excess solvents – most commonly water – to produce a concentrated
solution or a solid precipitate of the dissolved substance.
Weight Balance ,Trowel &
Spatula
• A weighing balance is an instrument which is used to determine the
weight or mass of an object. Available in a wide range of sizes with
multiple weighing capacities they are essential tools in laboratories,
commercial kitchens and pharmacies to name but a few.
Trowel & Spatula

A small tool consisting of a flat metal blade
joined to a handle, used for spreading building
materials such as cement
• Jho
• ug

A spatula is a broad, flat, flexible blade

used to mix, spread and lift material[1] including
foods, drugs, plaster and paints.
In medical applications, spatula may be also used
synonymously with tongue depressor.
Speedy Moisture Tester
• The UTS-0155 Speedy Moisture Tester is used to determine the
moisture content of soils, sand and fine aggregates in the field. It is an
easy and portable method. The amount of gas, which is given off
when water and calcium carbide are mixed and react, is directly
proportional to the amount of water present in the sample and
results in percentage moisture are taken from a pressure gauge.
Cassagrande’sApparatus
• The hand operated Casagrande apparatus comprises of a carriage
with cam mechanism, standard smooth brass bowl, drop counter and
base with setting gauge to BS 1377.
Plastic Limit test Apparatus

• Shrinkage Limit Test Apparatus is specifically designed for

determining the shrinkage limit of soil. Conforming to specifications
and tolerance in accordance to I.S. 2720 Part VII, this apparatus
comprises of high grade components with accurate dimensions.
Sieve and Sieve Shaker
• Sieve shakers are used for separation and size determination of particles. A typical
sieve shaker separates particles by passing them through a series of chambers
with mesh filters and agitating the sample in order to obtain complete separation.
Depending on the equipment, there are options
for sieving both solid and liquid samples.
Equipment can differ in the type of sieving,
the maximum and minimum particle size
that can be processed, and level of automation.
Choice of equipment will depend on the type of
lab and the samples being processed
Specific Gravity Determination
Apparatus
• We are offering Specific Gravity (Density) Apparatus, which is useful
in the determination of specific gravity of a test liquid by the falling-
drop method is described. This feature enables the initial fluid column
to be conveniently repetitively used for specific
gravity determinations.
Core Cutter Test Apparatus

• Conform to IS 2720 standards, our Core Cutter Apparatus are used to

determine in-situ dry density of natural or compacted fine grained
soil, which is free from aggregates. With the help of a dolly and
rammer, a cylindrical cutter is used to extract a sample of the soil.
Sand Replacement Test
Apparatus
•  Sand cone apparatus, filled with uniformly graded sand passing through No.
20 sieve and retained on No. 30 sieve.
• 2. Density Plate, with a central circular hole of diameter equal to the diameter
of pouring cone.
• 3. Digging tools.
• 4. Balances sensitive to 1 gm & 0.1 gm.
• 5. Spoon.
• 6. Brush.
• 7. Moisture containers.
• 8. Oven.
Standard & Modified Proctor
Test
• The Proctor compaction test is a laboratory method of
experimentally determining the optimal moisture content at which a given
soil type will become most dense and achieve its maximum dry density. The
test is named in honor of Ralph Roscoe Proctor [de], who in 1933 showed
that the dry density of a soil for a given compactive effort depends on the
amount of water the soil contains during soil compaction.[1] His original test
is most commonly referred to as the standard Proctor compaction test; his
test was later updated to create the modified Proctor compaction test.
Constant Head Permeability
Test
• This method describes a procedure for the determination of
the permeability of water through granular (cohesionless) soils in a
steady-state condition. The procedure is to establish representative
values of the coefficient of permeability, k, of granular soils that may
occur in natural deposits as placed in embankments, or when used as
base courses under pavements. The determination of k was
developed under the assumptions of the validity of Darcy’s Law, which
states that the coefficient of permeability is the ratio of the flow rate
to the hydraulic gradient. In order to limit consolidation influences
during testing, this procedure is limited to disturbed granular soils
with permeability in range of 1 to 1x10-5.

Direct Shear Testing Apparatus
• The Direct Shear test is carried out with an apparatus consisting of a square
divided into two halves. The specimen, contained in the box, is subjected to a
constant normal load while an increasing horizontal force is applied to one of the
sections of the shear box. This force causes a shear failure along the junction
between the box sections. The shear force and the normal load are measured
directly. The rate of strain is adjusted by the speed of the horizontal force
applied. The loading unit has V-strips on which the shear box housing rests.
Suitable for specimens of size 60x60x25mm. The precalibrated load yoke helps
counter balance the loading system. The load yoke with direct and through lever
system for applying normal load upto 3 kg/cm2 capacity, fixtures for proving ring,
brackets for holding consolidation and strain dial gauges are provided. The lead
screw connected to the shear box housing helps application of shear stress.
