 The red disc represents the sun rising over Bengal, and


also the blood of those who died for the independence
of Bangladesh. The green field stands for the lushness of
the land of Bangladesh.

Nature

Cox’s Bazar : Cox’s Bazar is known to


be World’s largest sea beach with a
length of 120 km.

Sundarban Mangrove Forest :


Sundarbans is most probably, the
world’s largest mangrove forest located
in the south western parts of
Bangladesh.

Kuaka : This can be counted as one of


the rarest places on the earth where
both sun rise as well as sun set can be
viewed at a single standing position
from the same white sandy beach as in
Bay of Bengal.
Historical Places

Mahasthangarh : is one of the earliest


urban archaeological sites so far
discovered in Bangladesh.

Lalbagh Fort : It is an incomplete 17th


century Mughal fort complex.
